Already second year in a row asylum seeker from the Centre "Mucenieki" were celebrating Easter together with Ropazi people in Ropazi parish. This year they were involved in the annual Easter celebration event in Ropaži parish next to the Ropaži Cultural Centre. They had the opportunity to participate in various workshops related to Easter - making egg, making shaped glass magnets, making pastalas, making animals from beads of different materials, making spring flower floristic compositions and making art decorations. Also here was the opportunity to participate in interactive activities - egg painting and rolling, a woodworking craft workshop, as well as various competition points (skiing with wooden skis, sack fights, train cutting, etc.). The musical background was provided by the amateur art collectives of the Ropaži Culture Center and the band"Dzilna".
The event is part of the project ‘Integration Related Measures in Mucenieki’ supported by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 Programme “Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Cultural Cooperation” .
